I was a little unsure about getting fresh meat delivered and I'm still not entirely sure if I'd do it again after my first order. The process requires you to select a day when you're available to receive it which I did however it never arrived with no update or heads up from DPD. The app then says it'll be sorted in 24hrs and wasn't and when I chased for an update from MuscleFoods it turned out the package had been damaged in transit and was never coming but no one had bothered to update me or the system. I managed to get a new delivery date for 5 days later (earliest available) and I left really clear instructions as to where the package should be left and subsequently found it dumped in a communal area rather than the safe place requested.
This is particularly frustrating when you've had to pay for delivery.
However, despite this the meat was good quality and good value but the question is whether it's worth the hassle in trying to actually receive it, especially if you've gone to the effort of planning your meals based on what you think will be arriving.
Customer service was pleasant and tried to sort the issue as quickly as they could but offered nothing to recompense the hassle and waiting around, even simply refunding the delivery cost would have been nice.
