I decided to sell my old unlocked iPhone 5 through MusicMagpie. I was initially offered £80.10 via their website. When they received my phone, they reduced the offer to £25.15 with the claim that "Reason: Screen - green frame around LCD more than 1 cm". The reason changed when I called them to "the screen colours have faded. Neither of these claims are true as it was a phone used solely used for testing websites I designed for work (total use of ~50 hours). I have since decided to keep the phone for work purposes. It still does, and always has worked perfectly. This seems to be a common tactic used to maximise profits. I'd strongly recommend avoid selling any electrical devices to MusicMagpie.
