I've successfully used MusicMagpie in the past to cash in on CDs and DVDs that I no longer wanted. The process has always been straightforward with payment arriving within a week of despatching the items to them. It was only recently that I decided to recycle my old iPhone 8 plus with them. Having entered the details of my phone on their website they offered a good price (in comparison to other mobile phone recyclers), and I decided to take them up on their offer. They sent me an email describing exactly what I needed to do, and following their simple process, I duly received a payment of £330 direct to my bank account within a couple of days of sending the phone to them. No mess, no fuss. Brilliant. They event kept me updated, telling me that they'd received the phone and when they planned on sending payment. True, I could have made more money selling it on a well known auction site but I've been bitten in the past by unscrupulous buyers who will buy your old phone and fraudulently claim that it doesn't work or is in worse condition than you stated, trying to extort money on the transaction. Invariably, you end up losing some, if not all your money. I didn't want that headache again. I'll definitely consider MusicMagpie again when looking to sell-on my unwanted tech.
