I was just about to travel 100 miles and purchase a £3k 4x4. Before I set out I completed a check on the car to find out that the ownership on the car had not changed over the last year. The current owner told me he had owned it for only 4 weeks. When I called and asked was he the registered keeper on the V5 he said no and was driving the car on his dad's insurance and could not afford his own. It just did not tally up and his story changed.... So I walked away and left him too it. ????
