I’m a M*A*S*H nerd so when I heard that Alan Alda was auctioning off his dog tags that he wore all 11 seasons I did some research. I had no idea that his tags didn’t read “Benjamin F Pierce”. He wore two dog tags from Korean War GIs: Hersie Davenport and Morris D. Levine. I knew there was no way I could afford the original ones for my MASH collection (they sold for $125,000, along with the boots Alda wore all 11 seasons) so I researched places I could have replicas made and found https://www.mydogtag.com/. I sent them pictures of the dog tags and about $20 a one week later I had my replicas. They are now hanging from an obscure piece I have hanging on my office wall.
