I cannot begin to describe how fantastic it is to now have an authentic duplicate of the dog tags that I was issued in Boot Camp, pre-use of Social Security Numbers for Service Numbers and in the same format as the Navy issued them then! I had sadly lost my original set because for some years after my career I was not wearing them. (I had moved a few times so there was no hope of them turning up!) Some months back, I got the idea of searching the Internet to investigate if there were any companies that made old-style dog tags. It took a bit of "digging", so to speak, for your company to turn up in my search, and, per your description, it was, by far, the best: exactly what I was looking for. Moreover, when I was unsure about the possibility of having my Service Number embossed on them (instead of my Social Security Number since I enlisted prior to SSN use) I got a very prompt reply from Matt not only in the affirmative but how to do that! That was great!
