Have a first generation about 3-4 yrs old. Came installed in the condo we bgt 2 years. Had no instructions- battery ran out after us being gone for 5 months and not noticing. Called the 800# spoke w an owner. Sent me emailed instructions how to fix it. Best product, Best Customer. I would rate this as 100% perfection.
