This service provider is a bit disorganized. When I initially set up my account with IEE I was not told that I needed to put my account number on the envelope of the transcripts when I sent them. They got lost. I ended up making two trips to the registrar's office at my undergraduate alma mater and paying twice to have the transcripts sent. The second time by a courier. I also was not granted credit for ten credit hours of a certificate I completed through the social work department of an accredited Canadian university. A note was made that this should be considered a continuing education certificate only. My transcripts delineate the courses that were worthy of university credit (wrote papers, did research, presented on topics), and which were personal/professional growth (group work, practicum). I suspect that if the certificate had been titled as a social work diploma/certificate, instead of as a substance abuse counselling certificate, it would have been deemed worthy of credit.
