I submitted four (4) diploma qualifications and two (2) advanced diploma qualifications of the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) for USA Evaluation. The report I received for my evaluation states that Australian vocational qualifications have no academic coursework or examinations hence does not equate to any credit transfer in the USA. This comment clearly demonstrates this organisation has little or no understanding of the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). Other countries of similar frameworks include South Africa, The United Kingdom, PNG, Asia Pacific and now other European countries are adapting this framework. I submitted two Advanced Diploma's (AQF - level 6) that scales as two Undergraduate Graduate Degrees under the AQF. The knowledge assessments (exams) that I sat were extensive and lengthy (not to mention the performance assignments and foundation skills). The report I received from IEE demonstrates their zero understanding of our system hence zero research was conducted prior to writing the report. I would have thought IEE would at least have taken to the time to do their homework as to how the Australian Qualifications Framework operates prior to making the assumption it is parallel to the out-dated vocational system of the USA. I paid $145.00 USD for this report and IEE did not take the time to research the international Australian system.
