Disappointing experience. AVOID!!! Echoing all reviews here! I was in a rush and needed the fastest possible solution, so I called the first locksmith that came up in my search. Like many others have mentioned, they quoted £45 over the phone but failed to explain that additional charges and VAT would be added. The locksmith arrived quite late—though I understand traffic can be unpredictable—and then asked me to arrange parking for him. What concerned me most was that he managed to open my door in just a few seconds using a plastic card. It felt very insecure, and now I feel I need to use my second lock more regularly for safety. Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re aware of all the hidden costs and potential security implications.
