Ordering process was a breeze. Really pleased with the selection of products and pricing.
As instructed on the web, I placed my order before 3pm to guarantee same day postage. Order was placed prior to 1pm.
I was going away and needed the plates the following day, so selected the Royal Mail - Special Delivery - Next Day Guaranteed.
Sadly Royal Mail didn't attempt delivery until the day after the guaranteed delivery date. I contacted MyShowPlates, who were initially responsive to emails, but became less and less so. Citing that they wished to resolve the issue with Royal Mail before addressing the issue with me. After a few weeks I felt that these were stalling tactics. I suspect that the plates missed the final postage of the day!
For reference ... when an order is placed that has Next-Day Guaranteed delivery, once that order is accepted, then a contract is established between you and the vendor. Any failures in delivery are a breach of contract, and the vendor must resolve for you. The issue with the delivery is a contract between the vendor and the postage company ... and should never affect you.
In the end I resorted to raising a claim with my credit card company who used VISA guarantees to refund the transaction and then reclaim from the vendor directly.
So sadly ... whilst the initial ordering process was good, after-sales is sadly very poor.
