My Order Number : WMS238949 - registration details <W3 PRW> plus a lower positioned <GALLAGHERS MITSUBISHI> slogan, in addition to a MITSUBISHI MOTORS badge. The 1st set of plates arrived in July '14 but there were flaws in the plates - apart from the fact the package had been damaged in the post - with further 'tear' damage visible to the rear-coating on one of the plates. It was obvious somewhere along the postal 'chain' that someone had tried to repair the damage to the package with a clear-type tape and had placed DO NOT BEND labels on the package. I returned them at my own expense and requested that BEFORE the replacement set were sent out, the front plastic protection-films be peeled back in order to ensure there were no further problems - fully appreciating that aesthetically new plates 'look' better with the film intact, but plate quality was more important than 'nice' presentation. Sadly my request was totally ignored and the 2nd set were also damaged, with chips in the acrylic plate surface. These would have been noticed had my specific request been observed. I received no e-mail or any form of contact to apologise - or an offer to either make up another set and do as I'd asked, or to provide me with a refund. I sent an e-mail to Chris expressing my great disappointment on July 30th but received no reply. I then sent a typed letter via Recorded Delivery to the Managing Director of MY SHOWPLATES (dated 8th August) once again expressing dismay that I'd spent £47:41 (including return postage) but had nothing to show for my efforts. NO useable plates, NO apology, and NO explanation for this appalling and extremely shabby way of running a business. Because of all the above, I would NEVER recommend MY SHOWPLATES to anyone.
