I recently purchased 1 pair of showplaces for my Car. I placed the order for the plates to have a blue border to match my car. I am a car enthusiast & have restored my car so attention to detail matters. On receiving my plates I found that the border on the yellow was Black! I thought that I had made a mistake & so double checked my order & the detail again online. After receiving a reply from My Showplaces it seems that the yellow does not allow the Blue border. I was disappointed & not happy with the service. It was explained to me that this minor detail is in the small print. I do not think that this was fair at all. The website clearly asked you for details as you click your preference & an example is shown...Great! Why is this not taken out of the equation totally in the first place so you do not have the option? It’s like order a brand new car in blue from the colour shown in the catalogue & then when it arrives in black...the dealer says sorry did you ready the small print!! I have just taken my vehicle off the road for winter but I am already looking at purchasing new plates to replace them. I shouldn’t have to. The website feature/option is very misleading.
