The cell providers in Canada are outrageous bandits, and I found that even though I paid a significant monthly fee to call the US, they were also charging me per use charges for texting to the US. With MyTello, I ditched their long distance plan and signed up for a much cheaper text plan. The cost to use MyTello for voice calls is a fraction of the plan with my cell provider. I'm so glad to have beaten Bell in this round! The service is simple to use, and call quality is excellent.
