I have spoken several times for National Business Institute. I prefer attending their sessions vs other providers because they automatically provide you with written materials and they are not ruled by the larger firms as many of the bar association events are.
Occasionally I have spoken for them out of town and they did not volunteer to provide me with any compensation for substantial mileage. Consequently, I no longer do out of town engagements for them.
