Although we got there in the end…I purchased a mattress online ready for pickup. The next day I received the pickup confirmation and sales slip. I received a call from the store saying it’s ready. I organised to get a truck and friends to help as we were outside the delivery zone. I had fired off an email to support team to see if they would deliver as we were only in Elora - just a 15 - 20min from Kitchener location. I then received approval that they would deliver! Great news…except the next day when I am supposed to get it they called and said the item was actually oversold and someone else had allegedly bought it in person the day before I bought it online the next day…so they no longer could sell it to me…i was then told it was the last one and now will have to buy the new model as the one I wanted was discontinued. THEN you’d think they would price match the new model but they wouldn’t. Two days later of fighting back and forth they countered with a wholesale pricing except that price is still higher than what I had initially paid for the item I wanted. So we proceed ahead. They tell me to call in the order over the phone to get the wholesale pricing. I call in. The associate says I cannot take payments over the phone. You need to order something online and then we can reimburse you the difference…although we got there in the end and the people themselves were kind and nice, the whole business operation is a nightmare and zero customer service appreciation especially when it was THEIR fault. Just nonsense.
