I have held an account with Nat West since 1969. I have not been overdrawn for over 25 years. I tend to live sensibly within my means and do not use credit cards.
I decided to apply for one via Nat West. They actually asked me to prove who I was even though I have been a customer for 53 years.
After 6 weeks + I had not heard from them.
Upon contact I was told that they hadn't bothered to proceed with the request.
I also have a deposit account with this bank which always holds more than the credit limit I was requesting from Nat.West.
This bank used to give customer service they now show no appreciation whatsoever to loyal customers.
