I purchased the OEM case to house a new O/U that was not provided with a case of any kind (CSMC Revelation). I did not need the robustness of the travel cases, but did want something to prevent damage and unauthorized access at home. I don't really like using a breakdown case for hunting since it requires that you assemble the gun in the field and I like to lubricate and assemble in a more protected environment. But for storage, this case is great. It is much superior to anything provided by most manufacturers (except of course those that provide a Negrini case). I expect to purchase a couple more in the future for my Spanish SXS's that did not come with a case.
