Negrini 1421-exp cases are a exercise in function , originality quality. Used and packed properly these cases perform like no other. They will take abuse with minor exterior visual impact. My purchase of a negrini for a Namibia trip, the heym drilling two barrel set travelled without fault. Baggage handlers are abusive to firearms as most of us know. With attention to detail in packing your firearm the negrini will handle things well. I would recommend the canvas exterior case, it will help defend against scratches and or in my case trim leather damage, but I didn't wrap the case or have the canvas cover. Although I did take the extra safety measure and put a lock around the handle. I was a little apprehensive about trusting the factory combination locks, but they made the journey without failure. I will spend the money and buy negrini in the future.
