My experience with James Temple in Maspeth location was very good. He was polite, helpful, funny and he did his best to help me find a dress for my son’s wedding. My issue would be with the store itself. You advertise 100s of dresses on your site. However of the 15 or so dresses I was interested in trying on, there was ‘maybe’ 1 in the store. Incredible. On top of that of the 2 dresses I settled on, in order to see the colors and the fit, I would have had to purchase both, no refund. I would have had to keep both dresses or get a store credit. What would I do with the credit?! My understanding is that is also the policy for many dresses if you ordered online, again, incredible! While James was nice, I can’t say I am all that willing to recommend the store. The lack of inventory and the policies were offensive.
