Ordered a wedding dress for my wedding in Singapore. The dress was perfect for the occasion. Thank you. The communication and the shipping worries however needs to be improved. It is mentioned on the website that the dress will be prepared and shipped out within 2 weeks of ordering and that the shipping details will be sent to me. Almost a month into the purchase, there was no shipping information sent. I sent a few emails to check on the status with the wedding drawing near and was told that the dress will be shipped and will arrive in time in Singapore for the wedding. With just over a week to go to the wedding, I still did not receive any shipping information and was told by email again that it will arrive on time (previous email from NYD said that shipping to Singapore will take 10 days or more). With no news on the shipping and with the wedding just 9 days away, I went out to purchase a backup dress. NYD finally shipped out the dress 8 days before the wedding and the dress arrived with 5 days to spare. I had to rush some minor alterations and was glad that the dress worked perfectly for the wedding. However, this came with extra cost for the backup dress due to the generic promise of an on time delivery with no details and also a rushed alteration job. Could do better with the communication with the shipping information to make the experience more stress and worry free leading up to my wedding.
