Wore it at my cousin's wedding in July and a military ball in December. I got a medium I think I may have needed a large maybe the equivalent of a size 9. If I did not have to pay a restocking fee I would have purchased two sizes to see which one fits best. I like it I get a lot of compliments. I got the bottom altered so it would not drag the ground as much. I would suggest wearing plain shoes with no jewels so it does not snag.
