I received the dress, tried it on, and beads and sequins literally started falling off during the fitting which clearly reflects the poor quality of the dress. I sent a friend the next day to return it to the store. They offered store credit, but I explained that I had nothing else to purchase there and that I urgently needed a refund so I could buy a replacement elsewhere. I was met with complete indifference.
The dress was left at the store, and later I received an email saying I would get store credit for a future purchase despite me opening up and clearly explaining how much I needed the money back. Their attitude was cold and unpleasant, and their lack of empathy was shocking. I will definitely take this to consumer protection authorities until I receive a full refund.
To make things even worse, a few minutes after my friend sat in his car, the receptionist knocked on the window. When my friend rolled it down, the guy just tossed the dress back into the car. Unbelievable.
I’ve bought many things in my life, but I’ve never had such a bad experience. My friend was genuinely startled. He even asked me what kind of place this was it felt like something out of a third-world country. The whole thing was surreal. The behavior of the receptionist was absolutely outrageous and left a very bitter taste. Extremely disappointing.
