I booked online and paid the full ammount for car parking for four days. The system was supposed to be easy however on my return to Newcastle to collect the car the ANPR did not read my number plate and lift the barrier. I then pressed to speak to reception to be told to put my car park ticket into the machine - I did this for the machine to ask for £45.00 so again had to press to speak to the attendant who asked me to leave my car and return to the office - I did this to find my paperwork could not be found after 20 minutes of messing about the guy in the office did something and lifted the barrier - all in all a poor service. A 35 minute flight from Belfast and a 20 minute wait to get out of the car park and this is not the first time I have had the same problem. Also the car park upon entry is very poorly signed and the markings are near impossible to see - my view is that you charge enough to leave your care....get it sorted out.
