Over all the experience was very good. I used to use same facilities at Edinburgh airport quite often and find the two very similar in every respect except that it was easier for me to exit at Edinburgh. The last two times I have used Newcastle (leaving in the dark) the system would not let me out without me pressing the help button, talking to an attendant and giving my details.
