The car park was easy to find, but it was very full so finding a space proved difficult in the dark. We did not see one bus that could have taken us to the terminal and there was no signs anywhere directing us to walk there. We got lost. We noticed lots of small fences that blocked alot of the ways to get to where we needed to be, so we ended up having to hump our cases over them. No ideal when we had children and it was raining. The airport itself was very hot, and very very busy. We waited in the jet2 queue and I almost feinted from the heat. Check in was brief and straightforward. We purchased fast pass for security, which we got straight though. I cant comment on the normal security route as I didnt look. We had breakfast and a drink which was nice(and cool), but was busy. We then went to find a coffee and somewhere to sit. It was extremely busy and there were no seats, so we had to sit on the floor. Not ideal when you have back and leg problems. Again, it was extremely hot and busy which I didnt like. The gate was announced at 30 minutes prior to departure, so we headed down there, then as we got halfway down one corridor it was announced there was a gate change so we had to double back on ourselves. But by the time we got to the gate they were loading the passengers so we got straight on the plane. Then it was announced that there was no one to push the plane back and we had missed our time slot, so we had to wait.
