I have used this facility many times and always had a positive experience. Unfortunately on this occasion the weather when we landed in Newcastle was horrendous, absolutely pouring with rain and very low temperatures. There was no courtesy bus in sight, after waiting ten minutes at the designated stop so we decided to walk. Part of the car park had been closed off and we'd had to park much further away than usual. The walk took us about ten minutes and in that time, other than a courtesy stood outside the main office, not being used, we didn't see another courtesy bus in use at all.
When we eventually get to the car, extremely wet, our ticket didn't work on the exit barrier, and we had to go into the office for them to sort it out.
We did mention to the member of staff in the office that the courtesy bus was no where in sight, and he apologized and said they were very busy.
We did manage to exit the car park shortly afterwards with the help of staff in the office.
Sorry to write a negative review on this, as I use the service a lot, normally always with a positive outcome
