Newcastle Airport is a very good regional airport that could benefit from more scheduled flights to city destinations. The terminal facilities are good on the outbound side but expect long queues at passport control on the way in. It won't go unnoticed that during holiday seasons the parking charges become extortionate to the point I switched departure airports during this time for my travel. Pricing was pure profiteering without any regard for frequent customers.
