I now prefer to use the short stay car park which is very convenient. However, based on my next stay in September when I am visiting Santorini, and the flight is scheduled to leave late afternoon, I object to having to pay for an extra full day`s stay when my outbound flight is scheduled to take off late in the afternoon, and I therefore park up late on the first day (first day`s parking charge), and lands just after midnight a week later, (extra day`s charge). If the inbound flight lands early and I leave the car park before midnight, there is no refund. Why not charge per 24 hour period timed from entering the car park to leaving the car park, based on scheduled flight times? That would be a fairer system.
