The online process was very good, clear and easy to use. On arriving at Newcastle Airport car park in the early afternoon I was surprised at how full the car parks were, many were already closed. I had to drive around until I found a space, the whole thing was completely random. That was ok, but I had assumed that when you booked you would have been allocated a particular car park. On the way home the service bus came just as we left the airport and so we didn't have to wait at all and the car park we were in happened to be the first stop. However, on leaving the car park we got stuck in a jam due to the fact that the barrier machines were not registering any of the pre paid bookings and some poor assistant had to keep hopping from one barrier to the other over-riding them manually. This was a real shame. Having said that I would definitely use the on site parking again.
