When I arrived at the car park there were barriers in place; stating that the long stay car park was closed. I drove around for ten minutes, trying to find the correct place to park. When I returned to my start point the barriers were removed.
On my return to Newcastle Airport my car park ticket would not work in the electronic exit barrier. I did not appear to be the only person experiencing the same problem. Fortunately I had photographed my booking and was able to prove that I was a legitimate user to a car park attendant.
