Returned from Holiday to find a scratch along the side of my car. I raised this immediately with the attendant who reassured me that there would be no issue and that the scratch would be taken care of.
Two weeks later I received a letter saying I had no proof they caused the damage and that they would not be entertaining the claim.
The attendants are supposed to check over the car when you get there and dont, cars are tightly parked, so people are squeezing between them (which is where I suspect the damage came from). I in fact had volunteered when dropping the car off that there was a minor mark on my front bumper and that I had looked over the car and there was no other damage.
I am now left with dealing with a repair for damage I didnt cause, and I am now writing to the Airport itself and the local Citizens Advice.
I will not be back, and if I had seen the shambles of where my car was being left beforehand, I would have booked a different carpark where the cars are properly inspected beforehand.
