We normally go in the long stay and wait for the bus to the terminal but we were given a free upgrade to the short stay carpark the week before we went. This turned out to be very fortunate because we were delayed considerably by traffic problems on our way from Whitby and would have probably missed check in had we not been able to run quickly across the road to the terminal! Good value for what we paid, therefore.
