The car park barrier system is easy, no waiting or paying on the spot. Car is secure. However, the long stay always has huge areas which are closed off and you have to walk long distance to get to airport or wait ages for a bus. On return to Newcastle after our holiday, the queue for passport control was ridiculously long, about an hour waiting so we were worried our car would incur extra charges but didn't so that was good
