Purchased extornionately expensive Airmax 270's at the end of December for a 12yo who needed a good indoor gym/training shoe. Not even five months later, the airbag in one shoe deflated. After being bounced around all over the place, finally received a warranty claim # and returned the shoes in close to new condition having faith that Nike would stand by their 2year warranty and claims to stand by their products. Received a denial stating the shoe was worn and that's what caused the defect, not manufacturing or product! 1) how can only one shoe be worn ( I assure you - the owner has two feet) and 2) "AIR"max... the whole purpose is the cushion! If that fails, how is that not a product defect!?
Absolutely shameful that a company would charge so much for something, not stand by it and provide a ridiculous response! It's also virtually impossible to get a hold of a person for further discussion.
ZERO starts Nike.
