I ordered a Wunderlich windshield for my F800GT. Ordered on Monday, delivered on Wednesday. All good so far. Opened the box and the item was branded "Puig" not "Wunderlich". I raised the matter by phone with NN's and was given an explanation along the lines of "Wunderlich don't make all their stuff themselves" and was invited to return it at my cost. On reading a number of reviews I was uncomfortable with that option seeing as how NN's would then have my screen and my money! Further research revealed that the screen delivered was available elsewhere without Wunderlich branding for about £30 less! I decided to send an email trying to appeal to their better nature, making no demands or threats. That's been ignored. So, the lesson to be learned is, if you want a Wunderlich screen do a bit of research and you'll find exactly the same screen with Puig branding elsewhere for a considerable saving. I paid NN's £129 delivered for my screen, and I've found it elsewhere this morning at £89.44 delivered. What's really disappointing is almost half of the reviews I found are one star but NN's clearly don't care. NN's has a swaggering arrogance about themselves that they're really not entitled to. There will always be an alternative, and in this day and age, with information so freely available, eventually NN's will find their order book drying up.
