The XMRE was purchased about a week ago. This does NOT look like a Mil Spec meal at all. I was disappointed in the quality as well as portions. The snacks are horrible. Every one a pilot bread and animal crackers. At $79 its ok, but I will stick to the Mil stuff for the MRE.
I have used the Mountain house stuff from here, and its unbeatable.
