The chair was easy to put together, and I love the mission behind it. That being said, I cannot recommend this chair. I have begun developing some back strain while using this chair over the last two weeks. Most of this is lower back pain, exacerbated by leaning back on the chair. While the chair does flex, it offers little support creating a major strain on your lower back. Furthermore, the chair’s seat is incredibly uncomfortable. Sure, you could buy the pad for $100 more, but that doesn’t seem logical for a single chair that is already quite pricey. Again, love the mission and aesthetic, but maybe version 2 will solve some of the usability issues.
