The idea behind these chairs is excellent, but the execution leaves you wanting. The chair height is too high, even for me, a 6 foot guy. My girlfriend (5'4) cannot touch the ground with her feet when she sits in the chair, making for an uncomfortable experience. Because of the shape of the chair and the lack of arms, if you can't comfortably touch the ground with your legs you feel very unstable in the chair, particularly because the seat moves as you do. Despite a high price-point the materials are rather unrefined and unfinished. I think it is great they are made from recycled materials, but there are sharp, rough edges along the chair that dig into the backs of your legs and are noticeable to the eye, detracting from the design and perceived quality. Maybe in a few years they will have the production and height more refined, but for now, these are a return for me and a pass for interested buyers in my opinion.
