Products a fraudulently marked as vegan. I wrote nuts.com months ago and told them that their "carob covered raisins" are not vegan due to the fact that one of the ingredients is "confectioners glaze". Confectioners glaze is Shellac and Shellac is a resin excreted by certain female Asian beetles after they have feasted on tree bark. This is a blatant sign of carelessness and fraud. Being vegan for some people is a new fad bc their new idol is doing it for some vain reason, so they dont care. Ive been a vegan for over 16 years. I sent them a very respectful email asking them to remove that item from vegan list, and they have selfishly kept this product in their vegan section to fool the ignorant and to insult the wise all for the greed of money! A mistake is understandable but this is just a total lack of ethics, concern, and integrity.
