I've been a long term loyal O2 customer. At some point they just stopped being a good value so, after a series of completely fruitless conversations with various O2 customer service assistants, I decided to leave.
And here (surprise, surprise...) they started making problems. I asked for my PAC code and turns out I'm not able to receive it whilst abroad. I got advised to do it via website and it doesn't work either. I've emailed them but haven't heard back.
