We have been trying to cancel mobile number 07522893385 this was forced on me by virgin media (we never received the sim anyway) when i upgraded my package over 18 months ago , i have since renewed to another package and although the can set up an account they said can cancel which i find strange a O2 and Virgin are the same company, this was all stated in all my emails , we have sent to to O2 complaint review service on 27/11/24, again on 07/12/2024, again 12/12/1224 and again on 13/12/04 eventually got a case ref C-1312241297 on 13/12/24 from the resolutions team, since then no communication , i chase the resolutions on 27/12/20024 still nothing . i called on 2nd Jan spoke to Catherine @ 12.02 pm based in the Philippines who said they tried to call us on the number on the account , they obviously cannot read as never received the sim, they said they would get someone to call me back I gave them permission to call my wife to discuss this as would not be available, again no call back so sent another email on 10/01/2025 asking for a response again on 15/01/2025 , still nothing . i then called on 16/01/2025 spend 1 hr 30 mins on a call being moved from department to department and iD's 4 times . eventually spoke to a Bigviva (known as BJ) in India who said he had cancelled number and he would put me through to a manager as i wanted to raise a major complaint i got cut off but they called back on my wifes number spoke to a Sabel (spelling prob not correct) she said she would call my wife on 17/01/2025 at 9am to discuss compensation , guess what still no call back but the have nerve to send out a notice of Disconnection , with threats of this going to a debt purchaser all for £5.44, i would like a call back to my wife on number previously given to get this resolved
