The wine is great, but the delivery was not. There are electric gates into my driveway. I was in the house at the time. The driver did not ring the bell and instead put the boxes over the railing (about 4 feet high) and the boxes rolled around and were left in a far from satisfactory condition despite plenty of labels stating the contents are fragile! I am surprised no bottles were damaged. I witnessed this from a window. I should also say that this delivery was coupled with another delivery, so I received two large boxes and two smaller boxes. Given the content of what is being delivered I think much greater care should be taken. Drivers ought to make every effort to get to the front door including, if necessary, telephoning the customer given they ought to have contact details.
