I received an email from octopus suggesting the direct debi be decreased on my mothers account and she wants to stay in credit so we didn’t want this to happen. Got through to octopus within 3 minutes on hold and spoke to Mamie. What a delightful lady she was that amended mums D/D back to its original amount with no fuss and so I then wanted to know if I was on same tariff as mum; although I was paying more, Mamie advised me I could changed to a “fixed” tariff that isn’t fixed as you can opt to another tariff at any time, without any exit fess and this tariff would save me money. Such a simple conversation that was made so easy because of Mamies excellent communication and knowledge and within 5 minutes, I’ve changed tariff, saved money and she’s even told me when to next check my account to see what the next change of tariffs will offer me. Thank you Mamie for your very personable and helpful nature and for making a dreaded phone call so quick, easy and great for my budgeting.
