I’ve called twice today, once to get some info and a quote and the second time to switch. I first spoke to a man called Ethan, who explained everything really clearly and made me feel very comfortable in the conversation. The only reason I called back to switch was the customer service I received when I rang, I was only waiting for 1 minute before Ethan answered my call and then helped me enormously with explaining the ins and outs of the tariff, I then called a couple other energy companies to compare, and some were slightly cheaper but I decided to switch to octopus purely because of the service I received. I then spoke to Thomas who further confirmed my decision to switch. He went into further detail about the tariff and further helped me understand it all, even with my thousand and ten questions! Both people who answered my call today were incredibly friendly, polite and easy to talk to. I never felt pressured to switch, I switched just because of these two peoples service.
