I have just escaped from British Gas (BG) who forced me to remain as a customer for 6 months on false pretences and am delighted to be with Octopus. My first bill was based on wrong data supplied to Octopus by BG so I rang and was helped by Joseph Richards. What a change from BG! He was intelligent (just being a human being was an improvement on BG Bots), listening, analytical, fast and sensitive to my distress at apparently being back in a wrong billing situation. He explained how all the regulations on transfers work and treated me as an intelligent customer. He was decisive and offered advice on my whole situation with tariffs etc, not just the matters I had raised. I am confident that he has now smoothed my passage to Octopus by sorting problems which weren't their fault and gaining my confidence.
