Following problems with EDF Energy not being very helpful with regard to my meter having a wrongly described rate on the National Database. I contacted Octopus to try and switch to them. I was told that it would not be easy for them to help me as it was EDF's responsibility to update the database meter type before I could switch. However after a short discussion with Octopus and a minimal time on hold with a very helpful person at the end of the Octopus switchboard the man told me that with my permission he would apply to switch me to Octopus and attempt to sort out the problem. I agreed to this as have got fed up with being messed about by EDF, who should have corrected the database error straight after I phone them approx 10 days ago. Thank you very much indeed for your help with this matter. I believe your name is Hassan. Extremely patient and helpful.
