First of all Octopus energy sent me an email saying I had failed a credit check and my switch over was on hold. I was really scared because i could think of no reason why that could be. I rang Tom and I was very upset about it. He was very kind and assured me over the phone the credit check was positive. He also sent an email to confirm this. It was very frightening to me that octopus would send me that email but Tom was able to reassure me that it was a mistake and there was nothing wrong with my account
