I stumbled across Oldies.com while looking for a hard to find movie for my wife for Christmas. Placed the order with plenty of time before the holiday to allow it to arrive ( because I'm not one of those people who complain when something doesn't arrive in three days during the holidays)
I received the package and somewhat excited for her sake and the main movie out of the two that I've been looking for since October isn't in there. So I call them and ask why. The customer service woman wasn't the nicest to begin with. She proceeded to tell me that the reason why I didn't receive it was because it was on back order! With no date in sight but as soon as they receive it they'll ship it to me! What the actual hell? These ridiculous, sorry excuse for a company sent me ( 3 ) frickin emails and not one of them said absolutely anything about a back order. I even asked her more about it and she tells me that they don't know finalized quantity until they go to fill your order.......AFTER THEY'VE TAKEN YOUR MONEY! I'm leaving it up to my wife, I've got enough sense to cancel this flipping order and tell them to shove it where the sun don't shine. This is beyond stupid. So I have to tell my wife that your Christmas gift might arrive after Christmas, Valentine's Day or F'ing 4th of July.
Like I told the woman on the phone I know it wasn't her fault but it's a lesson learned and absolutely never again. See they screw you once more with their shady ways. They make the customer pay for return shipping. Who freaking does that? I'm a movie nut, I talk to lots of others and I'll be sure to spread this around for sure! STAAAYYY AWWAAYYY!
