I've been through a few blenders including some "premium brand" products. Unfortunately all of them have suffered motor failure with repairs often not worth the effort and cost, as the purchase price of a new unit simply made more sense. Through all this pain I've always had one eye on the OmniBlend but couldn't bring myself to spend so much on a blender. I finally pulled the trigger a few weeks ago and boy oh boy am I seriously impressed with the power of this machine. My family uses this at home mostly for smoothies, I make soups, sauces and also smoothies with this baby and the results have been well beyond expectation. Mostly appreciate the sheer horse power of the motor and I like the direct spares and service backup (not tested yet though). No regrets from me at all.
